I figured all along it was a power supply problem and that was confirmed when I opened it up to check the voltages. It turned out it had a very different power supply than most synths!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/scotteh\/9432823764\/\" title=\"Korg M3-m Power Supply by scott3eh, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7346\/9432823764_d2a702af74.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"326\" alt=\"Korg M3-m Power Supply\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s basically a laptop power supply crammed right inside of it! At first I thought that was kind of cheap but now I don&#8217;t mind so much because it makes for a cheap and fast repair! $35 later it&#8217;s back up and running. I just hope these are good supplies and that I wont be doing this every year or two!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, all is fixed and happy now!
