I was going to do a short post just to mention that I’m working on a few new songs and then I turned on the OB-8 and… nothing happened! Dead again! Another dead cap probably. I can see why you really need to replace ALL of the old caps. If you don’t it’ll just keep dying, one cap at a time. <\/p>\n
Anyway, I’ve been really tired lately and haven’t done a lot but I have 3 songs on the go. One is more of a rock guitar song so I don’t know if I’ll use that in the net CD. Another is a song that started out as a quick demo of the Yamaha CS-40m for a friend. I had another listen to it and loved t sounds so I decided to expand it into a full blown song. All sounds in this song are done with the CS-40m. So far I’m liking this song a lot! This is really a fantastic synth!<\/p>\n
The other one is a pseudo-classical piece, kind of like Bach. Not much, but I guess sorta. I’ll get bach to that one when I’m finished the other one. Then hopefully I’ll get more energy (I had a cold a couple of weeks ago and that made it much worse, so hopefully that will be completely gone soon) and I’ll get back to full steam ahead mode!<\/p>\n
